Originally from Dayton, Ohio, Gina just couldn't resist the charm of the Midwest. She packed up and moved to Bloomington in the Fall of 2014 to begin her undergraduate studies at Indiana University. She is currently a sophomore studying chemistry and is a part of the Liberal Arts Management Program (LAMP), which she hopes will help her satisfy her desire to study science while improving interpersonal communication and presentation skills. She joined Professor Hieftje's Research Group in the Fall of 2015 and has loved it since day one. She couldn't be more honored or excited to work with such a talented and passionate group of people. Gina is currently working on finding methods for flagging chemical matrix effects in the Solution-Cathode Glow Discharge (SCGD).
